The South West Aberdeenshire Citizens Advice Bureau (SWACAB) covers the whole of the South West of Aberdeenshire, from the border with Aberdeen at Westhill right out to the upper Dee and Don valleys, providing free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information to help you resolve the problems and issues you face.
We will have an advice centre in the Beaton Craigie Room of the Victoria & Albert Halls, Ballater on the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 12 noon – 3pm starting on July 16.
We can help you sort out debt worries and ensure you claim all the benefits and tax credits you may be entitled to. We can help with housing, utilities and employment problems, deal with consumer issues, answer questions about immigration and have lots of experience of family and personal matters too.
We are always looking for additional volunteers to join the bureau and value all financial support, no matter how small.
